Origin

Traditional smart contracts can't weigh subjective evidence: they execute deterministic rules, while real commercial conflicts turn on interpretation. Proven was conceived at the Aleph & GenLayer Hackathon (organized by Crecimiento) to mediate peer-to-peer disputes in digital commerce, and won 1st place in the Prediction Markets track.

Mechanism

The protocol runs subjective-logic smart contracts on GenLayer's experimental network, where coordinated LLM validators act as decentralized adjudicators over the evidence each party submits. The TypeScript/Next.js frontend covers the dispute flow end to end: structured evidence upload, state tracking and verdict monitoring.

What's next

Development continues with the post-hackathon team. The mid-term roadmap explores digital identity schemes and extending subjective logic to automated audits of supply contracts, reducing the cost of traditional commercial arbitration.
