Origin
One of healthcare's biggest bottlenecks is post-visit follow-up: patients forget or misread indications and dosages from the physical prescription. Sana was designed at the Kaszek & Anthropic Hackathon to accompany and validate post-visit care plans.
Mechanism
The interface and interaction logic run on Next.js + Tailwind with secure async calls to Anthropic's Claude models. Patients load prescriptions through image recognition; the treatment is structured interactively and doses are cross-checked against pharmacological databases to prevent harmful interactions. Accessibility was a design requirement, not an afterthought.
What's next
Sana's modular design scales toward enterprise telemedicine: better treatment adherence, less overload on primary-care centers and an auditable record of clinical progress.
