Origin
Compliance in the food industry means parsing scattered regulation: the Argentine Food Code and agency provisions change frequently, causing delays and involuntary breaches for small and mid-sized producers. This project unifies and interprets those heterogeneous sources automatically.
Mechanism
A web application automates the analytical crossing of records with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), integrating public datasets from ANMAT, SENASA and FAO with the Food Code. Inspectors and legal auditors query in natural language and receive compliance reports with a full audit trail. The type-safe Next.js frontend keeps regulatory logic from silently breaking in the UI.
What's next
The roadmap points to a public compliance API to simplify launching new food products, cutting approval times while protecting the right to safe food. It's the project that best embodies law × code.
